I recently made the trip across the borders of Texas to the great state of Louisiana for a much needed vacation this past week. Two of my closest friends are saying the big "I Do" next month, so in true southern fashion we rallied the troupes and made the long, yet eventful commute to New Orleans.
The 'Big Easy' has always been a favorite spot to all of our friends for more reasons than I could dare list on this Blog post. Let's just say that The French Quarter makes it very easy to have a good time while visiting. The city itself is this mysterious melting pot of culture, never ending nightlife and eclectic fashion. Whether you have had the chance to visit The French Quarter yourself, or have be fortunate enough to hear the stories, the city never seems to disappoint.
Our journey began on Friday morning and as I traveled up and down the streets of Bourbon and into the shuffling traffic of Canal, I couldn't help but be captivated by the history of this beautiful town. From the incredible Parisian vintage shoppes to the infamous beignets at Cafe Du Monde, New Orleans paves the road for all things extravagant. Whether your heart desires the finest of dinning, excessive gambling or just a damn good time, this city has something for you.
Take a walk down the roads I traveled and see how I celebrated something that never goes out of style. True love.
