Being Bold

Fifteen Sixteen Logo

Being in the menswear industry I often get asked to describe my personal style. I tend to find this a difficult question to answer because like many things in our lives, mine is always evolving and changing. Your style has multiple components and can be a reflection of the many changes we all go through on a daily basis. With that being said, can one ever truly describe their individual style?

I'm not sure I know the answer to that question, but what I do know is that we cannot allow the changes from our past to define the opportunities of our future. Whether or not that be the people we use to associate with or the style of clothing we once thought we loved, change happens for a reason. We may not always know that reason, but any opportunity placed in our lives that allow us to evolve as individuals is one we didn't have before.

Don't make the mistake of passing up those chances. Instead, use those opportunities to become a better version of yourself. Use them to make you stronger and wiser. Use them and BE BOLD.

After all, being your authentic self is the boldest statement you can make. That is something that will never go out of style.
