Since its inception in 2004, Maroon Weekly has been Aggieland's go-to source for everything happening in the Brazos Valley. Produced in Texas and distributed throughout 200 locations in Central Texas, Maroon Weekly has established itself as the premier guide for all things entertainment, arts, and culture in the Bryan/College Station area.
Outside of reporting and developing engaging content to it's thousands of readers each and every week, Maroon Weekly also is the curator of the annual Best Of The BCS contest. A voter driven contest that highlights the front runners in every industry within the Brazos Valley community.
Upon winning his very own 'Best Of The BCS' title in the summer of 2016 for his retail store KIE, Chance began establishing a relationship with the locally owned publication and grew very passionate about it's desire to connect individuals with engaging and desirable content. Later that year, Chance continued chasing his dreams as opportunities arose within the Maroon Weekly Corporation. In the Fall of 2016, alongside best friend Zachary Morgan, Chance came on board as the publications new Co-Owner and Creative Director.
With an eye for brand development and a geniuine passion for supporting local businesses, Chance began implementing new ideas and content for the publication, making him a key factor in the expansion and growth of this already great publication in 2017. His innovative marketing concepts and eye for design have helped pave a promising path and bright future for this Texas based media outlet.
